The Solar Physics and Space Weather department opens its doors once a month ! From hand-made sunspot drawings to the closest-ever images of the solar corona, you will travel throughout its 200 years of history.

When?

Once a month, in French, Dutch or English. The tour will take around 1h30min.
The first visits are scheduled in April, more dates will come soon (including tours in English).

Where ?

Meeting point: main entrance of the Observatory (Avenue circulaire 3, 1180 Brussels)

Be on time! All visitors will be collected as a group at the gate. It is not possible to join the tour after the start.

For Whom ? 

Anyone is welcome but the number of participants is limited so you need to register well in advance.

Unfortunately, a large part of the  historical site is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility. There are many stairs to climb to the solar dome, for example.
