1929: A tribute engraved in the heavens. From the Uccle plateau, astronomer Eugène Delporte identifies a new asteroid. In honour of the future Queen of the Belgians, he names it (1128) Astrid, uniting for eternity the prestige of the monarchy with the vastness of the asteroid belt.
