1820 Birth of A. E. Becquerel

1820: Birth of Alexandre-Edmond Becquerel, French physicist (died 1891). Edmond Becquerel is most famous for discovering the photovoltaic effect in 1839 the physical principle behind modern solar panels at the age of only 19.
